Where is Garden Mania?
Garden Mania is located in Boambee, just south of Coffs Harbour, and is an easy stop if you're travelling along the Pacific Highway, either north or southbound. Come for coffee and cake, then stay to wander through the peaceful gardens and explore the other local businesses onsite.
Is Garden Mania a long way out of town?
Not at all! Garden Mania is only about a 7-minute drive south of Coffs Harbour CBD. We're just off the Pacific Highway — only around 100 metres in — so it's an easy trip from anywhere in Coffs Harbour.
What can I find at Garden Mania?
Garden Mania is much more than a garden centre in Coffs Harbour — it's a destination in itself! You'll find the award-winning Secret Garden Café, serving Botero coffee and amazing home-baked cakes, along with several other local businesses to explore.
Browse fine teas and beautiful gifts at The Red Sparrow Tea Company, then wander through The Cotton Shed for plants, pots, garden décor, gifts and homewares. The Cotton Shed is also home to West Indies Wear pure cotton clothing and KVL Linen, including our wholesale outlet and ever-changing sample racks.
Is it easy to park at Garden Mania?
Yes! There is plenty of easy onsite parking at Garden Mania, so you can take your time exploring the garden centre, The Cotton Shed, The Red Sparrow Tea Company and the Secret Garden Café.
If you're towing a caravan, it's best to park on the street out front, opposite Boambee School. When you're ready to leave, continue along the same road for approximately 100 metres, where there's a large turning circle used by school buses. This makes it much easier to turn a towing vehicle around before heading back to the highway.
Is it easy to exit and re-enter the Pacific Highway?
Yes! If you're travelling north, take the Boambee exit, turn left after exiting and the entrance to Garden Mania is approximately 100 metres along on your left.
If you're travelling south, take the Sawtell exit, turn right at the stop sign and Garden Mania is approximately 200 metres along on your left.
Is there a café at Garden Mania?
Yes! The award-winning Secret Garden Café is right here at Garden Mania. Meet a friend under the giant fig trees, enjoy Botero coffee, homemade cake or something delicious to eat, then wander through the garden centre, nursery and shops.
Do I need to book a table at the Secret Garden Café?
Bookings aren't always necessary and you're very welcome to simply pop in. However, some days can get busy, so if you're visiting with a larger group, we recommend booking ahead to make sure there's room for everyone.
Is Garden Mania dog friendly?
Yes! Garden Mania is dog friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome. There are plenty of outdoor tables where you can sit with your four-legged family member. We just ask that dogs remain on a lead while visiting.
What is The Cotton Shed?
The Cotton Shed in Boambee is a quirky mix of plants, pots, garden gifts, homewares and all sorts of unexpected treasures. It's also Coffs Harbour's own wholesale clothing outlet, located right here at Garden Mania.
The Cotton Shed is home to international pure cotton resortwear brand West Indies Wear and the KVL Linen collection — both designed right here at Garden Mania. You'll also find an ever-changing selection of samples, one-offs, clearance pieces and outlet bargains.
Is Garden Mania good to visit on a rainy day?
Absolutely! If you're looking for things to do in Coffs Harbour on a rainy day, Garden Mania is a great place to escape the weather.
The parking isn't undercover, but it's only a short walk to the front door. Once inside, you can explore the interconnected sheds without having to head back out into the rain. Browse plants, pots, garden goodies, gifts and The Cotton Shed, then settle in for coffee, cake or something to eat at the Secret Garden Café.

Yes! Garden Mania is a garden centre and nursery in Boambee, just south of Coffs Harbour. We're only around seven minutes from the Coffs Harbour CBD and just off the Pacific Highway, with plants, pots, garden décor, gifts, a café and several local businesses all in the one destination.
